It started with a pencil.
I was ten years old, sitting cross-legged on the floor of my bedroom, a blank piece of paper in front of me and a whole world swirling inside my head. I didn't know what I was doing, not really. I just knew that when I drew, everything else went quiet. The noise of the world faded, and something beautiful took its place.
That little girl with the pencil never stopped drawing.
✦ Growing Up Through Art
Through my teenage years, art was my diary. When words weren't enough, I painted. When feelings were too big to explain, I sketched. Sketchbooks piled up under my bed, filled with faces, dreamscapes, flowers that didn't exist in nature, and colours I mixed just to see what they'd become.
I studied, I practised, I failed, I tried again. I fell in love with digital art because it gave me something paper couldn't: infinite possibility. A canvas that never ran out. Colours that could be anything. A world I could build from scratch, pixel by pixel, with nothing but imagination and a stylus.

Suzy Art grew from a simple wish: to share the art that lives in my heart with people who feel it too. You may have come across my earlier work under the name Suzy Art — that was where it all started, and this is where it's grown.
